BeyondCV Inc. ("BeyondCV," "we," "us," or "our") provides a portfolio builder for individuals who want to create and publish professional portfolios (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you.

• Account information: Email address, password, and account settings. If you add a name or profile label, it is stored with your account.
• Portfolio configuration: Design choices, layout settings, and component selections used to render your portfolio.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Usage data: Pages viewed, interactions, device and browser details, and IP address.

2.3 Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment status and subscription details, but we do not receive your full payment card number.

We do not currently collect detailed personal profile data such as resumes, employment history, or sensitive personal information. If this changes, we will update this policy.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Create and manage your account
• Render and host your portfolio
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Analyze usage to improve reliability and user experience
• Detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues

4. Public Portfolios

Portfolios are public by default. If you choose to publish, your portfolio will be publicly accessible and may be indexed by search engines. You can change visibility settings or unpublish at any time.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

• Service providers: We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, PostHog for analytics, and Stripe for payment processing.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.
• Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and analytics. Supabase sets cookies to keep you signed in, and PostHog uses cookies to help us understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account and data at any time in your account settings. We may retain certain records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
